SITE PROJECT ENGINEER (KUALA LUMPUR & SHAH ALAM)

Years of Experience: 5-10 years of experience
Qualification: Degree/Master in Civil Engineering
Job Description: 1) To manage and coordinate sub-contractors and suppliers.
2) To manage and coordinate sub-contractors and suppliers.
3) To ensure quality control, material control and plant and equipment control on site.
4) To assist Site Supervisor in all materials required for project site.
5) Responsible for all surveying works on site.
6) To hold daily or weekly safety and health meetings with site staff and sub-contractors.
7) To assist Project Engineer and submit inspection form to sub-contractors and Site Supervisor for any work that requires them for confirmation (In advance 48 hours).
8) To assist and instruct sub-contractor’s and Site Supervisor if problems are encountered on site.
9) To ensure proper BCS installation according to specification.
10) To liase with client throughout the duration of the project.
11) To make sure the progress claims are collected from the client every month.
12) To improve project management skill and the technical knowledge if necessary.
13) To write and submit weekly work progress report to Project Manager.
14) To ensure proper supervision on sub-contractors.
15) To deal with CAD and PSD regarding sub-contractors’ claim and progress claim, and also material purchasing and delivery.
16) To certify the monthly percentage work done for the sub-contractors’ claim.
17) To submit monthly percentage work done to CAD for preparing the progress claim to the client.
18) To ensure all administrative procedures are followed.
19) To ensure punctuality at site and submit weekly attendance report to office.
20) To undertake new assignments from time to time.
