Assistant Warehouse Supervisor
(Penang / Selangor)

Our client, a distributor for FMCG products ranging from beverages, food to personal care products are looking for dynamic candidate to fill the above position in line with their business expansion.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise a team of staffs in ensuring fast and accurate orders picking and checking
• Plan, organize and co-ordinate work to achieve desired result
• Supervise and conduct monthly stock count and variance explanation
• Responsible for preparing/ collecting and checking all the documentation and invoices; manage reverse logistics process and carry out posting into SAP system
• Prepare logistic reports and monitor logistics KPIs
• Ensure that all materials / finished goods are checked, labeled and stored in the designated storage area
• Assist branch executive in ensuring warehouse operations/work procedures are compliant with audit requirements
• Issue materials / finished goods based on FIFO to avoid any damage or deterioration of materials / goods;
• Ensure good housekeeping, safety and accuracy of inventory

Requirements:

• SPM / Diploma with 5 years working experience in distribution / warehousing in a FMCG or customer-oriented working environment
• Preferably executives specializing in Warehouse Management, Transport, Distribution, Courier Arrangement and Third Party Logistic operation
• Those with supervisory experience will be an added advantage
• Independent, mature, able to meet deadline and work under minimum supervision
• Pleasant personality with good interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong organizational and problem solving skills
• Proficient in English & BM. Those with knowledge in Mandarin will be an added advantage
• Able to operate MS Excel, ERP system and management reporting
• Position is based in either Penang or Selangor. Please state preferance.
