MS SQL DATABASE ADMINISTRATOR

Roles & Responsibilities:
• Responsible for supporting and Monitoring SQL Server databases, for high availability.
• Plan, implement, & administer Windows Server 2008 clustering for use with SQL Server 2008.
• Plan, implement, & administer new SQL Server 2008 failover clustering instances
• Design, build and maintain operational databases for custom-build applications
• Design and build schema, indexing, security, Data Normalization, Data modeling
• Experience of T-SQL, SQL Analysis, DTS, SSIS & Reporting Services
• Capacity Planning and Backup & recovery methods
Education:
• Degree in IT related fields.
• MS certifications is a must.
Experience:
• > 4 years experience as Database Administrator on a medium sized network of servers and desktop systems using Microsoft technologies.
