The only good thing about it is the better looking links. I wouldn't worry about their servers, they'd have monsters running. I feel more sorry for Youtube's servers. However, if you're in the industry...anything social media, web 2.0, tech, etc..., you need to have a Facebook account if you want to be taken seriously. People with very unique names had nothing to worry about it. I just read this article and got curious about setting my URL on Facebook, went to the site and 1 minute later, got a URL that works for me. Most people don’t…or shouldn’t. However, if you’re in the industry…anything social media, web 2.0, tech, etc…, you need to have a Facebook account if you want to be taken seriously. People with very unique names had nothing to worry about it.
